What is the containment basin used for?
The containment pallet, also called a containment container or 1100-liter containment basin, is used to ensure the containment of leaks. Its main function is to prevent chemical, flammable, acidic, and corrosive liquids leaking from drums from contaminating the soil, the environment, and people. In addition, the 1000-liter containment basin meets various environmental regulations, having been designed to make regulatory compliance easier.
Handling
Easy to transport. The pallet can be moved with forklifts or pallet jacks, a major benefit compared to old masonry systems, which are restricted to the construction site.
Cleaning
Lightweight, non-toxic, easy to disassemble and clean. The Containment Pallet has a reversible face (grate), able to hold drums on one side or packages of various sizes on the other.
Capacities and Models
Also called a containment dike or containment basin, it comes in different shapes and models for 1 drum, 2 drums, and 4 drums, with capacities ranging from 100L to 1,100L.
Safety
