Pallets are the industry’s greatest allies and currently the replacement of wooden pallets with plastic pallet is happening gradually and at the same time consolidating the use of plastic in the most diverse sectors.

If factors such as sustainability, versatility, quality, product conservation and long-term cost are compared, plastic pallets stand out, with savings of up to 75% compared to wooden pallets.

Plastic pallets, in addition to being 100% recyclable, are more resistant to external agents, and have a useful life that can exceed 10 years of use. Wooden pallets have a useful life of a maximum of 3 years, in addition to being prone to changes due to weather, fungi, and lack of appropriate maintenance.

It is also possible to highlight the ease of handling and transport of plastic supports compared to the fragility of the wooden structure. Furthermore, wooden pallets have a negative impact on the environment, as their raw materials derive from deforestation.
