Schools in Brumal and Santa Bárbara, in the interior of Minas Gerais, already have a Rainwater Capture system.

The Mayor of Santa Bárbara, Mr. Leris Braga, spared no effort to carry out, along with the renovation of these two schools in the municipality, the purchase of six Tecnotri Cisterns to capture rainwater for cleaning and washing courtyards and watering school plants. The system was installed in Brumal, District of Santa Bárbara, and in Santa Bárbara itself, which blended perfectly with the school environment.

Our National Manager of the Environmental Line, Mr. Fred Leite, personally visited the two schools, together with our Regional Accredited, Mr. Geraldo Bicalho, from 3R Cisternas de Belo Horizonte, to check the installations carried out and evaluate all the work done by our Accredited in BH.

“What really enchanted me was seeing the brilliance and curiosity of the children who study there, talking and debating about the importance of reusing water for the future of their generations”, analyzed Fred Leite.

As a result of this beautiful result, neighboring cities that have already visited the schools of Santa Bárbara and Brumal are also providing their reservoirs, as is the case of Barão de Cocais, 15 km from Santa Bárbara.

It was agreed between the City Hall and Tecnotri that our Manager would return to Santa Bárbara to give a lecture with educational content to students from both schools on the benefits of water reuse. This action is part of the awareness actions that Tecnotri is keen to participate in and disseminate throughout the national territory.
