In a special article, the Magazine LogWeb brought together experts and companies in the plastic pallet sector to talk about the growth in the use of the product in the market.
One of the biggest difficulties in the sector’s growth is competing with wooden pallets, due to the price, as the wooden product has a much lower cost when compared to plastic pallet. However, when analyzing the characteristics of both materials, it is possible to state that plastic pallets offer many more advantages to industries.
Mauricio Scorteganha, industrial director at Tecnotri, was one of the participants in the article, where he mentioned the growing demand for the product due to its advantages: “recognized for its numerous benefits associated with ease of cleaning, not requiring maintenance, being light, with a long useful life and significantly reducing total logistical costs”.
Consumers are realizing the various benefits of plastic pallets compared to wooden pallets, which is reflected in the growth in the use of the product on the market. The use of plastic pallets has increased and is expected to continue growing.
