From now on, the Maria Aparecida Magno State School, in Bertioga-SP, already has a “Hybrid System” for capturing rainwater and air conditioning water installed in your school.
The installed system aims to meet the needs of the school, which used resources from the “Sustainable Schools” Program for its implementation.
This unprecedented capture system, which occurred due to previous studies, was successfully carried out.
The intention of saying no to wasting water resulted in the use of water coming from the school roof and, mainly, from the school’s air conditioning drains, which are now interconnected and directed to Tecnotri cistern. The cistern was strategically installed in a location that made it possible to collect water from both points, the school roof and the air conditioning drains.
Both rainwater and water discarded by the air conditioning will now go to the same reservoir, which will be used to water the school’s existing vegetable garden, clean courtyards and common areas, and most importantly, it will be the basis of pedagogical learning for its more than 700 students in primary and secondary schools, in the morning and afternoon.
