Attentive to environmental issues, the Mc Donald’s Chain has just installed in its store in a prime area of Belém-PA, a cistern to capture water from the central air conditioning system of its store, reusing water from the air conditioning drains in washing and watering all the landscaping around its store, located on Rua Antônio Barreto, in Umarizal, thus becoming the 1st. Brazilian franchise with an external reuse water collection system.
Following the example of what has already been implemented and carried out at the National Corporate Headquarters and Mc Donald’s University Hambúrguer, both in Alphaville (SP), Belém follows the successful steps of the partnership with Tecnotri, and is already enjoying the countless benefits that reused water can provide.
Leading this Project, Tecnotri’s Accredited Company for the entire Metropolitan Region of Belém, Condominius Assessoria e Consultoria, carried out another successful “Case”, adapting the store’s needs, and allocating our Cistern in an extremely strategic location, since the collection is being carried out in the external area of the store, precisely in the Drive-Thru area, where thousands of vehicles pass monthly to purchase the chain’s delicacies.
According to Mr. Sérgio Ferreira, Operational Director of Condominius, a meeting will be held next Wednesday, 14/06, to define and implement new collection points in several other Mc Donald’s stores throughout Belém, given the success of the implementation and completion of the first store, which will already serve as a model for the next units.
