In an unprecedented partnership with World Organization Engineers Without Borders – Núcleo RJ, yesterday, November 1st, the implementation of a Rainwater Capture project and the installation of a Cistern under the AMAR Beneficent Association.
AMAR shelters 20 needy children from communities in Rio, who come to the association through the children and youth court, and remain in this shelter for approximately 2 years.
Tecnotri’s main objective in this action was to be able to provide the shelter with water savings for cleaning and maintaining the shelter, as everyone knows that financial resources for institutions of this size in the country are always very scarce, and this action by the Company will bring a little more quality and savings to the institution’s day-to-day operations.

As an example of what is already happening with the electricity bill, since the shelter has the benefits of photovoltaic energy, now they will also have a significant drop in their water bills due to the installation of our Cisterna, and will also serve as a living example to raise awareness among these children shelter residents, the importance of water reuse in our lives.
For this “mission”, Tecnotri specially sent its Technical Representative, Mr. Fred Leite, to Rio de Janeiro, to carry out this installation and provide details to new users about the benefits of being able to count on water reuse from now on.
“ This experience of being able to bring to these children a little of what we do, and provide them with the awareness and ideology of our work, will be something that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Receiving a hug of thanks from a child who at the end of the installation came up to me and asked me for a kiss, will be a scene that I am sure will stay with me until the end of my life”… Fred Leite stressed.
